rare refectory table

superb unmolested piece with bold baluster legs and cleated three plank top with a generous overhang to each end, unusually in elm. the base is constructed of oak with elm side rails.  this table is in remarkably original order with no replaced parts with a fine, soft patina and no loss of height to the feet
english.  Circa 1680
Private collection for many years and previously removed from a house in great tew
